A dietitian who doesn't put people on diets.

If you want healthy habits that last, I'm your gal. I help people like you get out of a dieting mentality and into a healthy lifestyle by sustainably changing habits. Small tweaks in habits lead to big changes in your health. I want to help you free up brain space around food so you can feel amazing from the inside out. 

I study the science so you don't have to. But, I have a real-life approach.

Meet Anna!

A dietitian and health coach who rejects “diet mentality”

Anna comes to Lainey Younkin Nutrition, LLC with over 9 years of experience in the field of nutrition under her belt. She is an effective coach/educator on healthy eating and lifestyle behaviors with a strong focus on chronic disease management and weight loss/weight management. She leverages her training in health and wellness coaching to help her clients create meaningful and lasting change to their diets and health! 

Anna completely rejects “diet mentality” and instead helps her clients build healthy and sustainable lifestyle habits that allow them to achieve their health goals for the long run! 

She lives by her food philosophy which is one where all foods fit. The secret isn’t deprivation; it’s about finding that healthy balance of foods that support good health with foods that we just simply enjoy. 

She acknowledges that everyone brings their own experiences, challenges, and perspectives to the table. And so, meeting an individual where they are at and collaborating to develop a plan that fits their lifestyle, values, interests, and goals is the one most likely to work and stick!

In this busy life we all lead, she is passionate about helping people find ways to prioritize their own health and well-being so they can go on to achieve that balanced, full and happy life for good!

Born and raised in a small suburb outside of Boston, Anna is a true New Englander and is a big fan of all her Boston sports teams. She is a fitness enthusiast and a former collegiate soccer player. She comes from a big Italian family, so she isn’t short on fun and healthy recipes, nor is she shy about her love for pasta and pizza! In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking new recipes, listening to podcasts, spending time with her friends and family, and jet setting to warm and beachy destinations!

Simple: You'll learn how to meal plan the simple way.

Realistic: We'll change a few habits at a time so we can make sure they stick. 

Personalized: There's no one-size-fits-all meal plan here. We'll dive into *your* food preferences, schedule, desire to cook (or not!), social life (hello, wine), and workouts to determine the best plan for you.

Holistic: We're going to talk about more than food. Your stress, sleep, workouts, and skin are all affected by what's going in your mouth. 

Effective: No fad diets here! Only science-based nutrition that works.

 

You know you best. We’re here to clarify all the confusing nutrition claims & cheer you on to becoming your best self. 

We’re about simple solutions that lead to big results. But change takes time. So grab a latte or green smoothie, or heck, pour a glass of wine.

Lainey Younkin, MS, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Communication Specialist based in Boston, MA. Her mission is to help people get out of a dieting mentality and into a healthy lifestyle. She coaches individuals one-on-one and in group settings 100% virtually. She also has extensive corporate wellness experience leading nutrition workshops, seminars, and weight management programs at companies throughout the Boston area.

Lainey's nutrition communication experience includes working at the European Food Information Council (EUFIC) in Brussels, Belgium and developing content for Joy Bauer, dietitian for NBC's The TODAY Show. Lainey has been featured in Tufts Nutrition Magazine, EUFIC's Food TodayThe Friedman SproutEatingWell MagazineEatingWell.comBoston MagazineToday's Dietitian, on the Boston Neighborhood Network's Living Well, and on The Rhode Show. Lainey graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science - Nutrition & Dietetics. She completed her dietetics training at Massachusetts General Hospital and has a Master of Science in Nutrition Communication from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science & Policy.

When she's not coaching, writing, or doing smoothie demos, Lainey loves traveling, going to brunch, spending time at the beach, and catching up on the latest fashion trends. She resides in Boston, Massachusetts with her husband and three little boys.

Anna Begolli MS, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian based in Boston, MA. She has a demonstrated history of working primarily with individuals in the public and private sector who are looking to create healthy habits and lifestyle change. She also has extensive experience in business/program development with health & wellness startup companies.

Anna completed all of her coursework and dietetic training at Simmons University. She completed the accelerated BS/MS program and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics, her Master of Science in Nutrition & Health Promotion and obtained her Certificate in Sports Nutrition. She also possesses specialized training in health coaching having obtained her Certificate of Training in Health and Wellness Coaching through the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
