I’m Lainey, weight loss dietitian, mom of 4 boys, and believer that life is too short to stress about food, your body, and the scale. 

But when your clothes don’t fit and everything you try only yields short-term “results,” you do constantly think about food, your body, and the scale.

It doesn’t have to be this way. You can lose the weight and feel good in your clothes again. But what worked in your 20s won’t work now.

You have to change the way you go about losing weight – especially if you’re over the age of 35.

Meet the Team

Lainey Younkin, MS, RD, LDN

Lainey is the CEO and founder of Lainey Younkin Nutrition, LLC. She’s a Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Communication Specialist, and mom of 4 boys based in Boston, MA. Her mission is to help people get out of a dieting mentality and into a healthy lifestyle. She’s sick of the “eat less, move more” message that leads people to restrict their food, overexercise, and stress about food and their body. She teaches people what realistic  weight loss looks like and is proud that her clients don’t feel restricted or deprived on their sustainable weight loss journeys. 

Lainey’s nutrition communication experience includes working at the European Food Information Council (EUFIC) in Brussels, Belgium and developing content for Joy Bauer, dietitian for NBC’s The TODAY Show.  Lainey’s work has been featured in Tufts Nutrition Magazine, EUFIC’s Food Today, EatingWell MagazineEatingWell.comBoston MagazineToday’s Dietitian, Verywell, Health.com, Healthline, on the Boston Neighborhood Network’s Living Well, and on The Rhode Show

Anna Begolli, MS, RD, LDN

Anna is a dietitian who rejects “diet mentality” and comes to Lainey Younkin Nutrition, LLC with over 9 years of experience in the field of nutrition. She is an effective coach & educator on healthy eating and lifestyle behaviors with a strong focus on chronic disease management and weight loss/management. She leverages her training in health and wellness coaching to help her clients create meaningful and lasting change to their diets and health.

She lives by her food philosophy which is one where all foods fit. The secret isn’t deprivation; it’s about finding that healthy balance of foods that support good health with foods that we just simply enjoy.

She acknowledges that everyone brings their own experiences, challenges, and perspectives to the table. And so, meeting an individual where they are at and collaborating to develop a plan that fits their lifestyle, values, interests, and goals is the one most likely to work and stick!

Born and raised in a small suburb outside of Boston, Anna is a true New Englander and is a big fan of all her Boston sports teams. She is a fitness enthusiast and a former collegiate soccer player. She comes from a big Italian family, so she isn’t short on fun and healthy recipes, nor is she shy about her love for pasta and pizza! In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking new recipes, listening to podcasts, spending time with her friends and family, and jet setting to warm and beachy destinations!

Instead of calorie counting, we’ll teach you our easy-to-follow Balanced Plate Framework & 80/20 approach. You’ll learn what to add to your plate, instead of what to take away, so you can lose weight without feeling hungry, restricted, or deprived.

No, you don’t have to workout 6 days/wk or do endless hours of cardio. We’ll teach you which workouts boost fat burn and how you can fit them into your busy life.
